my feeble arms and weak knees. It makes me appreciate what's in front of me as it purges the dross in my heart. I thank God for the waiting season/time because He knows when is the perfect time! He owns and holds time at the palm of His hands.
There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 2: 1

Who I Am
Who I am
I am friendly to the people I like.
But that's not who I am.
I am patient to those who are easy to deal with.
But that's not who I am.
I am kind to those who like me.
But that's not who I am
I am generous when I have more than enough.
But that's not who I am.
I am tactful to those who always praise me.
But that's not who I am.
I am loving to those who love me.
But that's not who I really am.
I am prejudice to those who don't fit my mold.
I am irascible to slow and unreasonable folks.
I am harsh to those who criticize me.
I withhold help when I have just enough.
I mock and gossip about those who dislike me.
I'm indifferent to those who don't care about me.
That's who I really am.
Yes, I confess that this is my human nature.
I'm utterly a wretch and a sinner.
But I thank God, my Loving Father.
He still loves me and He even died for me .
His power in my life is working.
His grace is abounding.
I know who I am apart from God.
I am weak, unkind, impatient, unforgiving, rebellious, and proud.
How about you my friend?
Do you know who you truly are?

Here, There, and Everywhere
Omnipresent! Ubiquitous! That's where God's goodness is. The mere fact that you're reading this is already an evidence that God is good to you. While we are sleeping, He makes sure that all the planets, stars, and the whole galaxy are in their rightful places. He keeps everything in order and He sustains all things. No one is helping Him.
Sometimes it's hard to comprehend how a good God can bear to let people starve, be mistreated, be abandoned, get hurt, and lose their love ones in a mean way. My carnal mind would always whisper that God is not completely loving and good. He is unfair.
Good thing I now clearly understand that the situation the world is in right now is a direct result of man's sins. We shouldn't blame God for it. God is good in all sense of the word. He is pure, holy, loving, just, merciful, and forgiving.
Man has loved the world and not God that's why things are ugly and even getting worse each day. But to us whose eyes are fixed on Him, the opposite is going to happen. We will experience the grace of living and not just existing. The grace of enjoying rather than just enduring.
Love the Lord with all your mind, heart, soul, and strength. That's the greatest commandment He gave us. And when we do that, the grace, blessings, favor, and protection, are here, there, and everywhere!

Be The Miracle You Want To See
We are blown away with stories about miracle. I, myself, have experienced countless of pure miracle but still once in a while my heart wanders.
The greatest miracle for me would be seeing a dead man raise to life. I saw a video clip of a pastor raised from the dead and it's supercallifragilisticexpialidocious! I don't know if I spelled it right. We always see miracle as something extraordinary, not a plebeian occurrence nor a mundane event. It's rare and it's a miracle in itself.
I'm the type who looks forward to humongous and far fetch things. I get so pumped up when I plan and expect things that are wider than what my eyes could see. But so often times I get sad when these big things are not yet happening.
As I have come to know God in a more personal way, He made me realize that the greatest miracle I will see next to Jesus is myself. God wants me to be the miracle people are looking for. Be the love that doesn't expect anything in return. Be the kindness that doesn't judge nor withhold help. Be the forgiveness that completely let go of the hurt and be the HUMILITY that overlooks an offense.
I am not perfect and no one is . But as we follow God and truly live for Him, then, our children, our friends, and everyone around us will see a miracle in the flesh. Be the love, the kindness, the forgiveness, and the humility that people are longing to witness and to receive. Be the miracle you want to see.

Giving more means earning more
I like making money of my own and I always brainstorm with my husband how to create more income streams. As God has been building and increasing our business, an old friend sometimes knock on the door of my heart.GREED! It has a way of convincing me that saving and thinking about the future is a legitimate reason not to give what doesn't hurt. But God has reiterated this to me through His Word that if you give sparingly, you will receive sparingly.
When we give generously we become better people and our hearts learn how to value others. Give more of yourself and you earn more of your love one's and friend's respect, loyalty, and love.

Evolution's Intrusion
Our world has progressed beyond a regular folk like you and I could ever imagine. This planet we're living in is experiencing and enjoying great technologies which were all but mere ideas once. I am not a "techno sassy" being neither a "technophobic", but I am so thankful for all the comfort, convenience, and assistance these technologies give us.
Imagine if people didn't have great ideas that propelled them to make and produce all these high-tech gadgets and machines. We will still be on foot, not able to communicate the way we do now and work will still be slow like a snail.
We know that the most powerful weapon on earth is an idea. Once it's presented clearly with authority by someone above us or greater than us, then the idea will most likely sell.
In this Christian nation, one of the most disseminated ideas is EVOLUTION. This ideology defies what the Bible says about creation in the book of GENESIS. It's being taught in schools as one of the probable ways how the world came into existence. This creates confusion in some level especially if you are reading/teaching this to young and clueless minds who don't have a firm grasp of the truth about God's creation.
I don't understand why we still have to present this idea when the fact that this suggests that we came from a random process and God is not in the picture. How come we let our children be exposed to an idea that promotes randomness and absence of God. Since we say that we are a Christian nation, why don't we teach that God created the world in 6 days and that there was no other possible way other than that.
The tender and fragile minds of our children need not to receive ideas that are not relevant to them. We say we want to raise men and women with fear of the Lord then let us take them to the beginning of it all as how God did it. Let's tell them the great story of CREATION and let them be flabbergasted by God. Let our children be awed with God and with how He created all things.
Evolution is an irrelevant idea to us Filipinos because we believe in God. I am submitting a proposition to you my friend to search your heart if you believe that the Bible is 100% accurate scientifically and historically. Because if not Evolution may find its nook in your head and eventually in your heart.
Evolution implies that there is no Perfect Being who is All Powerful who designed you and me intricately with specific purpose in life. I'm not surprised that those who bought this ungodly idea are confused whether they should behave like a human being or an animal. God created us in His image and we didn't come from a cosmic fluke.
Evolution and CREATION can never be resolved. You can't believe in God and yet believe in evolution as well. It's oxymoron! It's a trifling argument you may say but this idea has changed so many things in the way people live their lives. The beginning of the history is not anymore about God's glory but it's now about this cell that found its way to eventually turn itself to something grand, complex, and infinite! Whew!!! So scientific!
I don't know if I will even make a difference in your life as you read this but I hope and pray that I have at least imparted something worth pondering about. I also pray that correct science about CREATION will be taught in schools because it's more logical to believe that a complex, intricate, pulchritude universe and everything in it was created by God rather than a result of a random occurrence.

Outside Me, Myself, and I
I just read Bo Sanchez's article about expanding your territory and it's not something new to me. The Biblical reference for his topic is also so familiar that I didn't even read it anymore. But, my heart was stirred and my being was once again awakened. I thought I'm doing fine because things in my life right now are pretty much more than ok. I have everything I need!
Bo Sanchez's article reminded me that life isn't just about me, my family, our dreams and our happiness but it's about fulfilling God's call. I know I've been called by the Almighty to serve Him and His people through music. Sometimes I wish I was born to an affluent family so I can just do all my great ideas without having any financial constraints. But I have to bloom where I was planted.
So... let the journey begin!
